6:30 – 7:00 Meet the Candidates
All candidates for elected office in the town have been invited. None of these positions is contested (there is only one candidate for each position).
7:00 Pre-Town Meeting
Melissa Brown (Treasurer) and Deborah Lee Luskin (Moderator) will be present to discuss the questions on the ballot (articles), the budget, and the 2019 Town Report. The format and flow of the meeting and the procedure for asking questions or making motions will also be discussed.
This is an opportunity to ask questions and gain understanding of the budget, report, and town governance. All residents of the town of Newfane (yes, this includes Williamsville, South Newfane, and Brookside) are welcome to attend.
Please bring your town report with you. There will be a few extra on hand for those who haven’t received it.
