Community Memory

In the Fall of 2020, the Moore Free Library received a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to start a community-wide interviewing/oral history project to preserve the memories of residents of Newfane, Williamsville, South Newfane and Brookline. This is the Community Memory Project.

Listen to interviews of community members:

There are many ways to get involved with this project! Do you like meeting people and learning about the community? Become an interviewer! Would you like to share your own memories or thoughts about the community today? Sign up to be interviewed! Do you like doing things on the computer? Volunteer to upload audio and image files! We have lots of opportunities for community members of all ages to get involved.

Beckley Gaudette is the Coordinator of the Community Memory Project. She may be reached at the library (802-365-7948) or MFLcommunitymemory@gmail.com.
