The Crowell Gallery is pleased to kick off the fall with an exhibit from the artists of the SouthEast Regional Hub of the Vermont Pastel Society. The exhibit will run from September 2nd through the 27th. A public reception will be held to meet the artists on Saturday, September 13th from 1-3:00 pm.

September’s exhibit, “Painting with Pastel” features artists Lesley Heathcote, Deedee Jones, Carol Corliss, Carroll Durand, Cath Stockbridge, David Brown, Matt Peake, Matthew Beck, and Lee Anne Parker. These are folks who live and work in the area, may be your neighbors or friends, may be people you know on a professional level.

The Vermont Pastel Society (VPS) is an all-volunteer organization founded in 1999. The purpose of VPS is to build and strengthen connections among pastel artists.
