From the Andes to the Stars: Exploring Chile’s Vera Rubin Observatory and ALMA

The Moore Library will host local science educator and amateur astronomer Susan Rolke for a fascinating program that takes the audience high into the Andes Mountains of Chile, where some of the world’s most powerful telescopes are opening new windows into the universe. The talk, “From the Andes to the Stars: Exploring Chile’s Vera Rubin Observatory and ALMA,” will be held on June 25th. The event is free, open to the public, and families are welcome.
