luskin

Newfane resident and writer Deborah Lee Luskin will talk about her 2016 through-hike of The Long Trail, the oldest recreational footpath in the United States.

Between August 15 and September 8, Deb and a friend walked from Massachusetts to Canada. They’d both just turned sixty and decided that a long walk would be a good way to figure out what comes next in what poet Mary Oliver calls “your one wild and precious life.” Walking and talking, these two women reached the Canadian border with new ideas about how to live more mindfully.
