Our Park Passes program offers our library patrons free admission to several wonderful sites in Vermont.
Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, Manchester, VT ~ good for admission for one family of four (2 adults + 2 children or grandchildren under 18). Hildene admissions include full access to the main house and gardens, special exhibits, goat diary, the 1903 Pullman car, Sunbeam, 12 miles of walking trails including the new Maple Trail to River Road where guests can explore the meadows, the wetlands via the floating boardwalk, and the Dene Farm. www.hildene.org
Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, Brattleboro, VT ~ good for admission to exhibits for members of one household (adults, children, caregivers). This contemporary art museum housed in historic Union Station has six galleries. Each year, about 15 exhibitions are presented in rotation. There is always at least one interactive exhibit for families to participate in art activities together. www.brattleboromuseum.org
During the months that Vermont state parks and state historic sites are open (usually June to , passes are available for 35 state parks and 9 state historic sites. Both passes allow free entry for up to 8 people in one vehicle.
