The Moore Free Library would like to offer a Memoir Writing Workshop for those who want a chance to reflect on and write about the key moments of their lives.

In a supportive environment, writer and educator Deborah Lee Luskin will lead participants in writing exercises geared to stirring memory by providing guided meditations for timed writing exercises. We will use positive techniques that encourage participants to write freely, to listen fully, and to dig deeply to find meaning and assign shape to the stories of their lives.

Deborah Lee Luskin is an award-winning novelist, a prolific essayist and a seasoned educator. She has taught literature and writing to a wide spectrum of learners and has been a Visiting Scholar for the Vermont Humanities Council for over thirty years.

Please email Louise Sirois at moorefreelibrary@gmail.com to indicate your interest in joining this group.  We need a minimum number to launch the workshop and we hope to start these sessions by January 2017.
